2. Call for Proposals: Invitation to Submit a Proposal
Submission of Proposals is possible till December 15, 2018. Contributions for the Parallel Program of the WELS 2019 can be submitted via the Conftool platform. We are looking forward to your submissions!

3. Program

3.1 Plenary Program:
Responsible Leadership – Demands, Reality, Possibilities
The Main Conference offers in the Plenary Program key note speeches to the conference theme: Responsible Leadership – Demands, Reality, Possibilities. Central topics include e.g.: responsible leadership, innovation, sustainability, communities of practice, networking, challenges and international trends in current policy and practice, education 5.0. The first speakers will be announced shortly. Read more
3.2 Parallel Program
The Parallel Program offers different thematic strands, each with four 90-minute sessions (workshops and presentations), e.g.: Assessment and Evaluation for Quality Development; System Leadership and Cooperation; Equity and Equality in Education; Diversity Management; Leadership for Learning; Health and Resilience in Education; School Improvement and Educational Change; Professionalization of School Leaders; Educational Policy and Educational Governance. 4. Conference Languages: English, German and French, maybe Spanish
The conference languages are English, German, French and maybe Spanish; simultaneous translation is provided for the Plenary Program. The Parallel Program is either in English, German or French and maybe Spanish, too. It is also planned to translate the key note speeches into Spanish.

For the last 12 years the Symposium has been the largest international congress in Europe on education leadership. 800 experts working in different fields of practice and research from around 50 countries worldwide discuss challenges and solutions for education and schools for tomorrow. In 2017, 1100 experts from 76 countries around the world discussed what tomorrow's schools should be like in 100 speeches, paper presentations, and workshops with around 200 speakers. The conference languages are English, French and German; simultaneous translation is provided for the entire plenary program. The parallel program is either in English or German. There will be sessions in French and Spanish, too.
